A shocking incident has come to light from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Where a thief entered a house with the intention of stealing and started touching the bed of a student studying in MIT. Suddenly the student woke up and saw that the thief was trying to do wrong things with her. When the student started shouting, the thief ran away and took her phone with him. When the student dialed her number from her friend’s phone, the thief picked up the phone and started talking obscenely and calling her to meet alone.
The victim lodged a complaint in the local police station. The police started investigating the matter by registering a case 187/24 dated 20,7,24 under U/S 343(1) 332(2) BNS 2023. The student studies in the first semester of the pharmacy branch at MIT. At four o’clock in the morning on July 20, a thief entered the room of the three students. The student had a Redmi Note-12 mobile on her bed. The thief picked it up and started touching the student indecently, which woke her up. When she raised an alarm, the thief started threatening her while leaving the room. Out of fear, the other students locked themselves inside another room.
The thief entered the students’ room and ran away with the phone
The student told the police that when she called her number from her friend’s mobile, the thief received the call and spoke obscenely. The thief said that he will return the mobile but she will have to come where he calls her.
Police registered a case and started investigating the matter
After this, the victim lodged an FIR in Brahmpura police station. Along with the CCTV footage of the room, the audio of obscene talk was also handed over to the police. On this matter, Brahmpura police station in-charge Subhash Mukhiya said that investigation is being done on the basis of the mobile tower location. It is suspected that the mobile thief might be from the local locality. The person who has been keeping an eye on the girl students will be arrested soon.
