Bihar: A part of the under-construction four-lane bridge in Bhagalpur again fell into the Ganga river, watch video

A part of the four-lane bridge under construction on Sultanganj-Agwani Ganga river in Bhagalpur, Bihar, fell into the Ganga river for the third time. This bridge is being constructed by SP Singla Company. This bridge is being built to connect Khagaria and Bhagalpur districts. The reason for the collapse of the bridge is said to be the sinking of the pillars due to floods.

There is no news of any casualty

There is no news of any casualty in the bridge accident. Because at this time the bridge construction work was stopped due to floods. It is said that the part between pillar 9 and 10 from Sultanganj to Agwani Ghat has submerged in the Ganges river. Due to this the pillar became weak and a part fell into the bridge.

A video of this bridge has also surfaced. In which it can be seen that the construction work of the bridge has stopped due to floods. At the same time, a part has fallen. While on Friday also a part of the bridge fell into the river and got submerged in water.

Local people alleged that there was no fair investigation

This bridge has collapsed twice before. First of all, this bridge collapsed on 30 April 2022. After this, on 4 June 2023, a part of the bridge fell into the river. Local people have alleged that there was no fair investigation regarding the collapse of the bridge. Local people say that due to corruption, incidents of collapse of bridges keep coming up in the state every day.
