Big gift to RIL investors, Mukesh Ambani announced to give bonus shares

The country’s most valuable company RIL will consider giving bonus issue in 1:1 ratio on 5 September. The company has made this announcement in view of the expansion of business and strong financial performance. Mukesh Ambani has given information about this in RIL AGM.

A big announcement has been made in the 47th Annual General Meeting (Reliance AGM) of the country’s most valuable company Reliance Industries led by Mukesh Ambani. It started with the address of Mukesh Ambani at 2 pm. As soon as the AGM started, the stock of Reliance Industries started running at a fast pace and rose by more than 2 percent.

Mukesh Ambani has announced bonus shares. He said that shareholders will be given one share in exchange of one share as bonus. However, a board meeting is scheduled to be held on September 5, in which permission will be taken to issue bonus shares. After Mukesh Ambani’s announcement of bonus shares, Reliance Industries shares were trading at Rs 3,050.65, up by about 2 percent. Reliance Industries shares have given a return of 26 percent in one year.

When did the company give bonus shares?
Let us tell you that Reliance Industries has not split the face value of its shares since January 1, 2000. The company has given bonus shares twice since November 26, 2009. Now it has announced to give bonus shares once again. The company has given bonus shares with 1:1 ratio every time. The company last announced to give bonus with an ex-date of September 7, 2017.
