Big announcement by software giant company, will give jobs to 15000 youth in Andhra Pradesh!

Software giant HCL is going to expand its network in Andhra Pradesh on a large scale, which will provide at least 15,000 additional jobs to the youth. On Tuesday, a delegation led by the company’s Corporate Vice President Shiva Shankar and Associate Vice President Shiva Prasad held a long meeting with the Minister of Human Resource Development, Information Technology (IT) and Electronics at his residence in Undavalli. After the meeting, the company has made a big disclosure.

HCL said that the company has a large-scale expansion plan in the state, which will provide employment to at least 5,500 youth. The company said that in Step 2, a new multi-storey building will be built and 10 thousand more people will get employment. HCL already has 4,500 employees in its existing units. That is, more than 15 thousand people will get employment from HCL’s new plan.

The company said, “We are planning to provide employment on a large scale by adopting the latest technology as per the changing trends across the world. Also, we will be a partner in the skill census and skill development which the state government is going to do in the most prestigious manner.” They said that they are ready to support the state government in its efforts to provide 20 lakh jobs in the coming years.

The company appealed to the government to take necessary steps to grant necessary permissions for expanding its network and release the subsidy that was withheld by the previous government. Responding to his appeal, Nara Lokesh recalled that during the previous TDP government he had personally met HCL chairman Shiv Nadar and persuaded him to set up the unit at Gannavaram even though many states were competing with Andhra Pradesh at that time. “It is indeed a great experience that the permissions were granted in record time and land was allotted at Gannavaram to help HCL start its activities on a war footing,” Lokesh recalled.

He said that whenever he visits Ganavaran, he feels very satisfied that he was able to provide employment to 4,500 youths. Lokesh, however, regretted that the company’s activities could not take off due to the incompetence of the rulers who came to power later. He said that the company which was ready to employ 20,000 people stopped at 4,500 because the necessary permissions and subsidies were not given.” Lokesh said that since there is a people’s government now, its main target is to provide 20 lakh jobs and the state government will give all possible help to HCL to expand its network in the state.

He said that the subsidy which was stopped by the previous government will be released on installment basis. He asked HCL representatives to focus mainly on providing employment to 15,500 other youth.
