Belarus sent a large amount of weapons to the Ukrainian border… What is tactical mark “B”?

When the war between Russia and Ukraine started, the letters Z, O and V were seen written on Russian vehicles, tanks and armored vehicles. Now B is seen written on Belarus’ military vehicles. Be it tanks or armored vehicles. Some time ago, Belarus President Lukashenko had talked about war with Ukraine.

Lukashenko had sent his 200 tanks, 1700 armored vehicles and a few thousand soldiers towards southern Russia to help the Russian army. At this time it is very difficult to tell whether they have returned or are fighting alongside the Russian army. There is no official information whether they are deployed or not because the B markings have disappeared from some vehicles or have been erased. There is a 1084 kilometer long border between Belarus and Ukraine.

There is also a theory that Belarus is preparing for a new war with Ukraine. That too from its border. This will open a second front in the war. Ukraine’s troubles will increase. There is a high possibility of this happening. Because Belarus is a supporter of Putin. It is a friend of Russia. Therefore, a military treaty is expected between the two countries.

Know the military strength of Belarus

According to the Global Fire Power Index 2024, Belarus ranks 64th in the list of 145 countries in terms of military strength. The total population of this country is more than 93.83 lakh. The current manpower is 49.73 lakh. The population fit for the army is 36.78 lakh. Every year more than 1 lakh people reach the age of joining the military.

Belarus has a total of more than 2.63 lakh military personnel. Out of which 63 thousand are active i.e. deployed. There is a reserve force of 1.45 lakh. 55 thousand soldiers are in the paramilitary. 11,300 are in the Air Force and 18 thousand are in the Army. Belarus does not have a navy. Therefore there are no such weapons or soldiers there.

The strength of the air force is also not very strong

Belarus has a total stock of 183 aircrafts, out of which 101 are always ready for war. Out of a total of 37 fighters, 20 are active. There are 51 attack aircrafts, out of which 28 are always deployed. There are four transport aircrafts, out of which two are in ready mode. Apart from this, there are 27 trainers, out of which 15 are active. Apart from this, there are 64 helicopters, out of which 35 are active. There are 25 attack helicopters, out of which 14 are deployed.

Know about the strength of the Army…

The Belarus Army has 517 tanks in stock, out of which 336 are currently deployed on different fronts. There are 6700 military vehicles, out of which 4355 are active. There are 369 self-propelled artillery, out of which 240 are deployed on the border. There are 170 towed artillery, out of which 111 are deployed. Apart from this, there are 206 multiple launch rocket systems, out of which 134 are deployed on the border.
