The case of kidnapping of a girl by the Deputy Commissioner of Begusarai Municipal Corporation has turned out to be a love affair. The accused of kidnapping, Shiv Shakti Kumar, has married his niece Sajal Sindhu in the Katyayani temple of Khagaria.
After the wedding, a video of both of them has surfaced. In this, they have openly expressed their views on this matter. The newlywed couple has also requested the Vaishali Police Administration that the FIR lodged regarding the kidnapping is completely false. We have got married.
Married couple pleaded for protection
Sajal Sindhu has mailed the Human Rights Commission, Bar Council and Chief Justice regarding this. Shiv Shakti has demanded security citing threat to his life. However, both of them have not come forward yet, neither Shiv Shakti has reached his Begusarai Municipal Corporation office nor have they reached home.
Got married in Khagaria
According to sources, both of them are currently staying at a place in Khagaria. In the video, Shiv Shakti Kumar has said that if you love, then you should have devotion towards love. You should not fall in the trap of economic temptation and social prestige. We showed devotion towards love.
The girl’s family had filed a kidnapping case
A case of kidnapping has been registered against us in Hajipur Sadar police station of Vaishali district. We have not kidnapped or done any immoral act. We have had a love marriage. The administration should provide security for our lives. We are feeling more insecure due to people becoming violent in the name of morality.
After marriage, she is sharing her views through a video
In the video, Sajal Sindhu has said that we got married after falling in love. This is a challenge, but we cannot change our decision by running away from challenges. We got married because we fell in love. There is nothing big in this. This is a big thing for those who do not understand these things. We are giving a message to the family and society that we should try to adopt the rules which we are unable to adopt in our own behaviour.
Both are residents of the same village
Sajal said that both of us have our ancestral home in the same place. We have been living together since 2015. After passing matriculation in 2015, I went to Central Hindu Girls School in Banaras to study intermediate. Shiv Shakti went to do PG. We both knew each other from before.
Got married on 14th August at Katyayani temple
When we got time there, we understood each other more deeply. Slowly, our love grew. Gradually, we progressed in a phased manner and on 14th August, we got married in front of Maa Katyayani, the famous Shakti Peeth of Khagaria. It is an irony of the society that today we have to tell that we have had a love marriage.
Sajal said that Shiv Shakti’s thoughts impressed me. Whatever decisions he takes, he takes them constitutionally and lawfully. He always takes the right decisions. There are fights in love and today we have to fight to prove our love. We had inspired Shiv Shakti with our behavior, that is why he said for the first time that it seems we are made for each other.
An FIR has been filed against Shiv Shakti in Vaishali. It mentions the names of her brother-in-law, mother, brother working in Pune and another person. Through this, an attempt has been made to disturb the lives of both of us and the work of Shiv Shakti. My appeal to our family is that I have known Shiv Shakti for 10 years, but I have known the family for 24 years. I request that our family members should incorporate the things read in the book in their lives. They should accept our relationship.
