Be it Nitish Kumar or Mallikarjun Kharge, their views on women leaders are the same!

Nitish Kumar, the current CM of the state where Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister, still considers women fools. After listening to the tone with which Nitish Kumar silenced RJD MLA Rekha Devi in the Bihar Assembly, one gets the same opinion about him.

And after listening to the way Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Rajya Sabha, his views about women have also come to the fore.

Women are considered to have played an important role in the success of Nitish Kumar’s politics in Bihar. Nitish Kumar had also promised a liquor ban in a women’s program before the 2015 Bihar assembly elections. Nitish Kumar has repeatedly received women’s votes in large numbers thanks to government schemes like Jeevika Yojana and Cycle Yojana.

But after Nitish Kumar’s statement on alleged sex education, once again Nitish Kumar’s strange comment was heard in the assembly. Nitish Kumar had said such a thing in the assembly on population control that there was an uproar for many days. BJP had made a lot of noise then, but Nitish Kumar got support from everyone from Tejashwi Yadav to Dimple Yadav.

Why does Nitish Kumar doubt the understanding of women?

As soon as the proceedings of the Bihar Assembly began, the opposition members reached the well. Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav was repeatedly appealing to the members to go to their seats and speak, but the ruckus continued – then Nitish Kumar stood up and told the opposition members that whatever demands they had, they had already been met, so there was no point in creating a ruckus.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was giving a statement on the budget. He was saying, if you sit and listen to the whole thing, then you will feel better. But no one was ready to listen. Nitish Kumar tried his best to convince the members. He said, the government has already increased the limit of reservation after caste census, on which Patna High Court has put a stay. The government has approached the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court.

Nitish Kumar also said that the Bihar government has already written to the central government to include it in the Ninth Schedule. Therefore, there is no point in creating a ruckus on this issue.

Then Nitish Kumar accused Lalu Yadav’s party that RJD did not promote women after 2005. When RJD MLA Rekha Devi tried to answer Nitish Kumar’s allegation, he got very angry.

Actually, Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister of Bihar till 2005. She became the Chief Minister for the first time in 1997 due to Lalu Yadav going to jail in the fodder scam. Like Nitish Kumar, JDU leader Lallan Singh has also commented. Regarding Rabri Devi, Lallan Singh has said that things like budget are beyond her understanding. She does not know how to sign, what will she say on the budget. Lallan Singh, who has been the president of JDU, is currently a minister in the central government.

When the opposition MLAs started shouting ‘Hai-Hai’ in the House, Nitish Kumar also started saying, you all are saying ‘Hai-Hai, Hai-Hai… Hai-Hai!’ Nitish Kumar got angry and lashed out at RJD MLA Rekha Devi.

He said, ‘Hey you are a woman… you don’t know anything… where do they come from, have these people done anything? After 2005 we are the ones who have taken women forward… listen quietly, we are the ones speaking now.’

Why does Nitish Kumar doubt the understanding of women? Why did Nitish Kumar go to meet Sonia Gandhi along with Lalu Yadav to unite the opposition? Sonia Gandhi is also a woman. Then Nitish Kumar must be doubting the understanding of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman too – but after the gift given to Bihar in the general budget, he is not tired of praising her?

By the way, Sharad Yadav’s statement on ‘Parkatti Mahilayan’ was quite famous in the past, and he too has been the president of JDU. Sharad Yadav had said this in his reaction to the Women’s Reservation Bill, which has now been passed by the Parliament.

Mallikarjun Kharge’s thinking is also similar

Though not exactly like the Bihar Assembly, a similar incident was witnessed in the Rajya Sabha as well. During the discussion on the budget in both the houses of Parliament, Mallikarjun Kharge said in the Rajya Sabha that this time the government has given money to only two states in the budget, no one else has got anything.

In the middle, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar said that the Finance Minister will answer your question. On the Chairman’s statement, Mallikarjun Kharge said, ‘I will speak… because she is an expert in speaking… Mata ji is an expert in speaking… she will definitely speak.’

Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar interrupted Mallikarjun Kharge about Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said, she is equal to your daughter. Mallikarjun Kharge is turning 82 years old, while Nirmala Sitharaman is 64 years old.
