Banda: A young man was beaten to death just for taking out a tractor from the field, the village turned into a police camp

The incident of murder in public in Banda, UP created a stir in the area. It is being told that there was a dispute between two parties over taking out the tractor from the fields. After an argument, the dispute turned into a bloody conflict. The bullies of the village beat a young man with sticks so much that he died. They also kicked him in his private part. On receiving the information, senior police officers reached the spot with the force of many police stations, after which the angry family members were pacified and the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

The matter is of Khaptiha Kala village of Palani police station area. Shivdatt Dwivedi and Chunvad Singh, residents of the village, live opposite each other. The fields are also adjacent to each other. Chunvad has sown sesame in his field, during which on Tuesday evening Shivdatt’s younger son Harshit (22 years) went to the field with a tractor. The tractor got stuck in the fields. Another tractor was called to pull it out, the second tractor that came went through the neighbor’s fields, due to which the crop got damaged. This became the reason for the dispute.

After some time, an argument started between the two parties. After which the son of the opposition leader surrounded Harshit standing in a paan shop in the village and beat him with kicks and sticks, leaving him in a dying state. Hearing the noise, the family rushed to the hospital in a critical condition, where the doctors declared Harshit dead.

The family members said that Harshit was kicked in his private part. They have demanded strict action. After the incident, the whole village turned into a cantonment. The forces of many police stations were present on the spot.

ASP Laxmi Nivas Mishra said, there was a dispute over taking a tractor in Khaptiha Kala village of Thana Palani. A young man Harshit was beaten by people of the other side. He died due to internal injuries.

The body has been sent for post-mortem. An FIR has been registered. The main accused has been arrested. The remaining others have been taken into custody and are being questioned. Police force is present at the spot.
