Badlapur: Angry crowd entered the house of the accused of brutality against girls and vandalized it

A case of a heinous act with two 4-year-old girls in a school in Badlapur, Maharashtra has come to light. There is tremendous anger among the people after the case came to light. The police have arrested the accused sweeper Akshay Shinde. On Wednesday, the angry mob attacked the house of the accused and vandalized it.

Angry people in Badlapur broke into the house of the accused on Wednesday and vandalised it. In the video, scattered items and a bent fan are seen inside the house. This house is located in a slum area of ​​the city. The accused is in custody till August 26.

SIT arrived to take the statement of the victim girl

Kalyan court has extended the police remand of accused Akshay Shinde till 26th August. Maharashtra government has formed SIT to investigate the negligence of police or administration in sexual harassment case, it will be headed by IG Aarti Singh. SIT team had reached the house of a victim girl to take her statement.

After the incident, people got angry and blocked the railway track. They vandalized the school, after which the police resorted to lathicharge. An FIR has been registered against about 300 people who were protesting in this case. The police have arrested more than 40 people. The police have registered a total of 5 FIRs in the Badalpur case.

MVA calls for Maharashtra bandh

In this case, the Maha Vikas Aghadi has called for a Maharashtra bandh on August 24. The MVA allies – Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) and Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) took this decision after a meeting. Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Vijay Wadettiwar said that the MVA allies will participate in the Maharashtra bandh on August 24.

Congress protest outside secretariat

He said that we discussed the issue of women’s safety in the state and the failure of the BJP-led Mahayuti government. He said that we will fight on all fronts. Meanwhile, Mumbai Congress President Varsha Gaikwad led a protest outside the state secretariat Mantralaya over the Badlapur incident.

Holding placards outside the gate of the ministry, Congress leaders and workers raised slogans against the government for the delay in filing an FIR. However, when the protesters were trying to enter the premises, the police stopped them. During this, Varsha Gaikwad and Wadettiwar targeted the state government for the increasing crimes against women in the state.
