Babar Azam, PAK vs BAN Test: Pakistan team trapped in its own net… Babar Azam out on a duck for the first time against Bangladesh

Babar Azam, PAK vs BAN Test: The 2 match test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has started. The first match started in Rawalpindi on Wednesday (21 August). On the very first day of the match, Pakistan team was seen getting trapped in its own trap. This is the reason why the first day of the match was completely in Bangladesh’s name. Babar Azam has also made an unwanted record in the match.

Actually, for this test match, Pakistan had prepared a pitch that was favorable for fast bowlers. This is the reason why captain Shan Masood included 4 fast bowlers in the playing 11. These bowlers included Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Ali and Khurram Shahzad.

Sam Ayub and Shaud Shakeel took charge of the team

But this claim of Pakistan backfired on them. In the match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first and took 3 wickets of Pakistan for just 16 runs. Abdullah Shafique (2), Shan Masood (6) and Babar Azam (0) were out early.

After this, Sam Ayub scored 56 and Shaud Shakeel scored an unbeaten 57 to take charge of the team. Pakistan lost its fourth wicket in the form of Ayub at 114 runs. After this, wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan came and he returned on the first day with Shakeel by scoring an unbeaten 24 runs. Due to this, Pakistan scored 158 runs on the first day by losing 4 wickets.

Babar got out on zero, made a shameful record

Shoriful Islam and Hasan Mahmud took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh. Hasan Mahmud gave Bangladesh its first success in the fourth over. He took the wicket of Abdullah. After this, Shoriful got Shan Masood out at the hands of wicketkeeper Liton Das.

After the captain left, former captain Babar Azam came to support the set batsman Ayub. Fans were thinking that Babar would take the team out of the difficult situation. But this did not happen and Babar got out for the first time in a Test against a team in Pakistan without opening his account. Shoriful Islam got him out caught by the wicketkeeper.

With this, Babar has made a shameful record in his name. This is the first time he has been out on zero in a Test match on his home ground. Overall, Babar Azam has been out on zero 8 times in Test cricket so far.
