Moeed Khan, who runs a bakery at Bhadarsa Nagar in the Purakalandar police station area of Ayodhya district, and his employee Raju Khan were arrested on July 30 for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl two months ago and recording the act.

After BJP’s allegations about the accused, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘Without DNA test in Ayodhya’s Bhadarsha case, BJP’s allegations will be considered biased.’

Shivpal Yadav demanded narco test of the victim and the accused
Reacting to Keshav Maurya’s tweet, Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle and senior SP leader Shivpal Yadav wrote on Twitter, ‘I strongly condemn the Ayodhya incident and also support the demand for narco test made by Pawan Pandey. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya should also undergo narco test so that it becomes clear who is doing cheap politics on sensitive issues.’ Shivpal Yadav demanded narco test of the victim and the accused and said that all BJP leaders trying to politicise the issue should undergo narco test. He said that BJP is doing this due to its defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in UP.
