The UP government has started taking action against Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the case of rape of a minor girl in Bhadarsa, Ayodhya. On Saturday, a bulldozer was run on Moeed Khan’s bakery and now preparations are being made to demolish a multi-complex which is said to be in the name of Moeed Khan’s NRI friend.

Amidst all this, Moeed Khan’s family has come forward in his defence. The family says that Moeed is being falsely implicated because he is a SP leader. According to his family, the girl and Raju Khan, the employee working in the bakery, knew each other beforehand and Moeed has no role in this.

On the other hand, fearing bulldozer action, shopkeepers have started evacuating the complex of 70 illegal shops. One third of the complex is to be demolished, which also includes a government bank. All those who have establishments here have been given notice. Even today, a team of the administration can reach to measure other illegal places.

Government banks also came under the purview

Additional District Magistrate of Ayodhya Anirudh Kumar Singh said, ‘After the Revenue Department’s investigation, a notice was issued regarding a multi-complex, but they did not demolish it yesterday because a bank was operating in it. The teams have informed the bank manager and when they vacate or even if they do not, demolition action will be taken. The accused had encroached upon the public pond and built an illegal bakery and boundary.’

Meanwhile, the truth about Moeed Khan’s crimes is coming out. He had encroached upon government land at many places. This action will continue for now. The Yogi government had made it clear after meeting the victim’s family that the accused will not be spared.

Politics intensified

The main accused is being linked to Samajwadi MP Akhilesh Prasad, so now Samajwadi Party has also come on the front and it sees a conspiracy in the case. Akhilesh Yadav broke his silence for the first time and wrote on social media – The way to justice should be found by getting DNA test done of all those who are accused in this case of misdeed, and not by doing politics only by making allegations. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment according to the law, but if the allegations are proved false after DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.

victim’s family’s allegation

The victim’s family complained about the matter to the police but it is alleged that initially no action was taken on it. Later when Hindu organizations along with Nishad Party people expressed anger, the police arrested SP’s Bhadarsa city president Moeed Khan and Raju who worked at his bakery. The victim’s mother said that when we went to the police station with the complaint, the inspector told us to keep Raju’s name but remove the other name. Then after the intervention of the SP, our case was registered. We want death penalty for the accused.
