Noida’s Phase-2 police arrested a miscreant in an injured state after an encounter who had taken a woman passenger in an auto to a deserted area and attempted to molest and rape her. The police have recovered an auto, pistol and cartridges from the accused. The accused is a vicious criminal. He was wanted in Kannauj police station in a case of assault and rape.
When the police stopped him, the accused started running away with the auto
Police said that the miscreant has been identified as Kuldeep alias Sonu. Police of Phase-2 police station were checking vehicles. During this, an auto coming from Kulesara was signaled to stop, but it did not stop on seeing the police and started running. After which the police chased the auto on suspicion. During this, the auto collided with a culvert.

Bullet shot in the leg
After this, the auto driver got down and opened fire on the police and also started running away. After which in the retaliatory action of the police, the auto driver got shot in the leg and he got injured. The police arrested him in an injured state and sent him to the hospital for treatment.
ADCP Central Noida said that the criminal has been identified as Kuldeep alias Sonu, a resident of Kannauj. Kuldeep was living in a parking lot in Sutiana village. He is accused of taking a female passenger in an auto to a deserted place and molesting and attempting to rape her at gunpoint.

Kuldeep was living in Noida after running away from Kannauj
On the complaint of the woman, the police was looking for Kuldeep, who has been arrested after an encounter. The ADCP said that Kuldeep is a cunning criminal. More than half a dozen cases are registered against him in various police stations. A case of assault and rape was registered against him in Kannauj police station. After which he fled to Noida and started living here. At present, the police is investigating to know about his other criminal records.
