The matter had come up earlier as well

Let us tell you that in June this year, the Central Crime Branch Police (CCB) busted a honey trapping racket in Karnataka that targeted influential people and blackmailed them. During this operation, two main suspects named Santosh and Puttaraju, natives of Mysore, were arrested. A young woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was also involved in this gang.

The gang used to target influential people and keep a close watch on their working methods. The gang used to keep an eye on every activity of such people and also found out in which hotels they were staying. As soon as the VIPs vacated the hotel rooms, the gang used to rent those rooms and secretly install hidden cameras. Then they used a young woman to trap the person in an objectionable situation and record it with the hidden camera.
