The company said at the Global Fintech Festival 2024 that it has launched India’s first Android-based cash recycling machine in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). The cash recycling machine also acts as a digital banking unit, offering a one-stop service for many of your banking needs.
What facilities will be available
Hitachi Payment Services said that users can avail a wide range of banking and non-banking services through the Android-based cash recycling machine, which acts as a digital banking unit, including QR-based UPI cash withdrawal and cash deposit, account opening, credit card issuance, personal loan, insurance, MSME loan, Fastag application and recharge etc.
How will these machines help common people
- This will expand banking services. People will get easy access to banking services even in remote areas. The need to go to the bank for many tasks will end.
- Puts more control in the hands of the customer by offering services through a single touchpoint and enhancing customer security by eliminating the need for physical cards.

Where can I get these machines?
Banks have not yet started this Android-based cash recycling machine. Hitachi Payment Services said that this machine will also be installed at non-banking branches, so that more and more customers can take advantage of it. Apart from this, this system will be installed at bank branches and other places.
