KYIV – Russian forces hit buildings, including a hospital, with two ballistic missiles in the city of Poltava on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“One of the buildings of the communication institute was partially destroyed. A nearby hospital building was also damaged. People found themselves under the rubble. Many survived. While more than 180 people have been injured. Unfortunately, many died. By this time, 41 people are known to have died,” said Zelensky Video statement.
He added that more people could be trapped under the debris. Rescue work is going on.
