The craze of making reels, uploading videos and becoming famous on social media overnight is taking a toll on the lives of the youth. A similar horrific incident has come to light from Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh. Where a young man died due to air gun pellets and there was mourning in the house. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
Police said that the father of the deceased Gajendra, a resident of Adarsh Nagar of Bidhuna Nagar, has given a complaint in the police station that his son Gajendra was taking bath in the house. Then Akash Shakya, Nishu and Gaurav entered the house in collusion and Akash fired a bullet at his son Gajendra. The bullet hit his neck and he fell down. He was immediately taken to the hospital. From here the doctors referred him to Saifai. But he died in the ambulance on the way.

After receiving the complaint from the victim’s father, the police arrested the three accused and recovered the air gun from them. The police say that the matter is being investigated seriously. Preliminary information has revealed that Gajendra Shakya had asked for Dhirendra Pal Singh Sengar’s air gun and brought it for shooting to make a reel on Instagram.
Police arrested four youths
The reel was to be made in the ground behind Tehsil Bidhuna. Gajendra was taking bath at the tap in front of his house. At that time cousin Akash fired an air gun at Gajendra and the pellet came out and hit the lower part of Gajendra’s neck and he died.
