The people of a house in Barwah forest range Kariyamal, about 80 km from Khargone district headquarters, were stunned when a huge python was seen inside the bed. After this, the forest department team was informed about it. By then a crowd of villagers had gathered to see the python.

Members of the Society for Animal and Welfare rescued an 8 feet long female python (Indian Rock Python) from a house. The surprising thing was that the python was sitting comfortably coiled inside the bed box.

When the family members opened the bed box, they found a python coiled on the clothes. The family members panicked after seeing this. On being informed by the family, the members of the organization rescued the python. Members of the Society for Animal and Welfare said that since the house is in the jungle, the python had come from somewhere and entered the bed box.

Crowd gathered to see the python
Tony Sharma, the head of the organization, said that Deepak Verma in Kariyamal informed over the phone that there is a python in his house. On reaching there, he saw that the python was sitting in the bed box in the house. A crowd of people had gathered at the spot to see this scene. They were present in the house for a long time to see the rescue of this python.

The python had entered the bed box after coming from the jungle
The organization’s members Ajay Kaushal and Atharv Sharma rescued the python from the bed box. The members of Animal Welfare rescued it safely and informed the forest department. After this, the python was released in the forest area. Tony told that there is a forest around the house in Kariyamal, it is possible that the python came into the house from the forest. It may have gone inside and sat down when the bed box was open. Earlier also, incidents of snakes and pythons coming out around the house have been reported.
