Delhi High Court issues notice to CBI on Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea

Delhi High Court: The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the CBI on the petition of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which he has challenged the trial court’s order of his arrest and sending him to the agency’s custody. According to the information received, the next hearing of the case will be on July 17. Let us tell you, CM Arvind Kejriwal had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court on July 1 and challenged the arrest of the CBI. CBI The ED arrested CM Kejriwal on 26 June. After which the Delhi High Court sent CM Kejriwal on 3-day CBI remand. After the CBI remand ended on 29 June, the court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days till 12 July. Currently CM Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar Jail. Let us tell you, after a long interrogation in the Delhi Excise Policy case, the ED arrested CM Arvind Kejriwal on 21 March. CM Kejriwal had also challenged the ED’s arrest in the court. The Supreme Court’s decision is reserved in this case.

Let us tell you, on May 10, the court had granted Kejriwal interim bail for 21 days for campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections-2024. After this, he surrendered in Tihar Jail on June 2. In the ED case, CM Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the lower court on June 20. After this, the ED approached the Delhi High Court against it. On June 25, the Delhi High Court put a stay on it. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has called the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal a political conspiracy.
