According to the claim made by Hasina in her election manifesto, her net worth is approximately Rs 3.14 crore. In Bangladesh, Bangladeshi Taka currency is used, in which this amount increases to Rs 4.36.

Income from agriculture
According to the affidavit, Hasina’s main source of income is farming. She has 6 acres of land and a fishery in the country. Her income from this is increasing with every election. Apart from this, this former Prime Minister of Bangladesh used to get around 10 lakh rupees annually. Now this salary will be stopped. But this is a very small part of her net worth.
Talking about vehicles, Haseena has received a car as a gift. Apart from this, she also has two of her own cars, which cost around 40 lakh taka. The value of the car received as a gift is not included in this.
How much land and property is there within the country
As is seen with most high-profile political figures, Hasina reportedly owns a lot of property in the country and abroad. According to various reports, Hasina owns real estate worth more than $18 million, which includes land and houses not only in Bangladesh but also in Singapore and Dubai. The building in Dhaka that was looted is worth about $3 million. Let us tell you that she continued to live here even during her tenure as PM. In return, she used to get a house allowance of one lakh taka.

Two years ago, a building worth 1.5 million dollars was purchased in the name of Hasina’s sister in Chittagong. There is a family house in Sylhet whose market value would be 1 million. There is also a vacation house worth about 5 million dollars in Cox’s Bazar. Apart from these, there is property in Rajshahi and Khulna in the name of Hasina or her close ones. Some of these are residential and some are commercial properties. Their rent will increase every year which will be a part of Hasina’s annual income.

According to Assets Magazine, he has made good investments in Singapore. This investment has been continuously visible since 2009. However, most of these things are registered in the name of his family. In Dubai too, commercial property has been reported in the name of this former Prime Minister. A Bloomberg report says that in London too, there is a huge building in the name of one of his relatives. But no report confirms these properties.
Increasing profits from farming
In the affidavit released during the election, Hasina had stated farming and animal husbandry as the main source of her income. In the year 2022, she earned about Rs 78 lakh from this. This is also a source of income from which the profit is unlikely to decrease. The former PM also has furniture worth about 7.5 lakh taka.
Investments have been made in these areas
Hasina has invested in many areas including telecommunications, banking and textiles. Textiles are anyway a big industry in Bangladesh. This country is also known for its clothing exports.

Jahangir Alam was accused of having property worth 400 crore Bangladesh Taka i.e. almost 275 crores. When Hasina was in the opposition, Alam used to work at her residence Sudha Sadan. Even after coming to power, he continued to work as her personal staff. According to a report in the Dhaka Tribune, Alam used to introduce himself as Hasina’s PA to outsiders and made money in this way. After the allegations in July, he allegedly fled to the US. The Central Bank froze all his assets. Hasina herself had ordered to get to the bottom of the matter.
