Amitabh Bachchan got upset because of David Dhawan! When he asked for the script, he got some lines written on paper

Filmmaker David Dhawan directed Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan in 1990. Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda were in the lead roles in the film. This film was a huge hit, but Big B was very upset during the shooting of this film. This was revealed by David himself. Because Amitabh is often known to work with a bound script but David did not give him the same.

David did not give the complete script

David told how he enjoyed working with Amitabh, he also used to get upset due to not getting his complete script. In an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, David laughingly said- Bachchan sahab used to ask for the script from me… I used to give him the lines written on a folded paper. He used to say show me the rest. I used to tell him that this is yours, you just have to say this much. We had a lot of fun.

David also talked about director Manmohan Desai, whom he considers his mentor. Manmohan Desai has directed classic films like Amar Akbar Anthony. The film featured Vinod Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles.

David said- He used to sell dreams. The best thing about him was that he believed in whatever he did. There was a scene in Amar Akbar Anthony in which three sons are donating blood to their mother. Amit ji and Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) objected and said- Manmohan what are you doing? How is this possible? But he said- Chintu, when the film is released, people will clap for it. He said- first you should believe in it, only then people will believe in it.

David told that he used to take his children Rohit Dhawan and Varun Dhawan to get his blessings. David has worked under Manmohan for many years. David also revealed about his son Varun. David told how Varun himself had approached Karan to launch him in the industry. Whereas David and his wife Karuna felt that he could do well as a banker.
