Amid the threat of war, internal strife in Iran; tension will be limited to political rhetoric!

The fears of war in the Middle East have slowed down for the time being. Iran, which was at the center of these fears, is currently embroiled in a political crisis. The Iranian media, which gave prominence to the news of revenge for the murder of Hamas’ political chief Ismail Haniyeh, is also quiet. Till yesterday, where the news of a possible attack on Israel was being aired, today the resignation of an important leader has changed the direction of the media.

The Iranian government-backed media remained largely silent on the subject of Ismail Haniya’s murder. However, before this, Iranian media was seen warning Israel. They were giving prominence to reports like possible missile attacks and teaching Israel a lesson. In fact, President Masoud Pezeshkian’s deputy for strategic affairs, Javed Zarif, has resigned.

He said, “I am ashamed that I could not implement the expert opinion of the committees (responsible for selecting candidates) in a civilised manner, and could not give a chance to women, youth and ethnic groups as I promised.”

Masoud Pezeshkian proposed his cabinet on Sunday, which also includes a woman. Javad Zarif said that he was also under pressure because his son has US citizenship.
