American weapons are becoming a big threat in Jammu and Kashmir, weapons left in Afghanistan reach Jaish terrorists

For the last few days, security forces have been engaged in operations against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the weapons recovered by the security forces from the terrorists during a separate operation are shocking. Sources in security agencies have informed Aaz Tak that the weapons in the hands of Taliban terrorists are reaching Kashmir through Pakistan. This trend had started in 2022 itself, but now this trend has increased even more.

After the last few military operations, it has come to light that foreign weapons are being recovered in large quantities from terrorists in the Jammu region. The trend of recovering M4 carbines from terrorists is not stopping. According to sources in the security department, all the terrorist groups at present have AK-47 rifles and M4 carbines.

M4 rifle is being used continuously

The first attack on army vehicles is fired from M4 only. The reason for this is said to be that steel bullets are fired from it which can easily pierce the steel sheet of thin skin vehicles (vehicles without bulletproof cover) as compared to copper bullets.

If we talk about the entry of M4 in Kashmir, then for the first time M4 was recovered in Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2017 when the security forces killed Talha Rashid Masood, nephew of Jaish chief Masood Azhar, in Pulwama. M4 has also been used in the terrorist attacks in Kathua, Reasi and Doda. Not only this, M4 was used to attack the security forces in the terrorist attack in Poonch last year.

Jaish and Lashkar terrorists are using

A report of the security forces has been obtained by Aaj Tak, according to which in the last few months two big meetings were held in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). One meeting was called by the Lashkar commander in the Pak Army Camp Tejin in PoK and the other meeting was called by Jaish’s chief Abdul Rauf. In both the meetings it was decided that as many weapons as possible should be sent to Kashmir.

According to sources, more than two dozen American made M4 carbines should be sent to Jammu and Kashmir. The agenda of the meeting called by Jaish was to send M4 weapons to the valley as well as to activate its informers and over ground workers (OGW) to get information about the movement of security forces. Apart from this, weapons and other logistical support were also to be provided to the terrorists. ISI representatives were also present in this meeting.

How dangerous is the M4 rifle?

The assault rifle manufactured by the American company was developed in the 1980s and has been used extensively by NATO forces. It has been said that the M4 assault rifle, which is used by the Pakistani army, is being sent to terrorists. The M4 carbine assault rifle is a lightweight, gas-operated, air-cooled, magazine-fed weapon. With over 5 lakh units produced since 1987, it is available in several variants.

This rifle is capable of firing 700-970 rounds of bullets in 1 minute. Its effective firing range is 500-600 meters, with a maximum firing range of 3,600 meters. According to intelligence agencies, the arrival of M4 rifles in the hands of terrorists in Jammu region is a matter of great concern. But the security forces have also geared up to deal with them.

15 terrorist camps and 24 launch pads activated in POK

According to intelligence sources, Pakistan Army and ISI have activated 15 new terrorist camps and more than 24 launching pads in POK in the last one month. Along with this, trained terrorists have gathered on the launch pads. Even though there is a ceasefire on the border, the Pak Army and ISI are continuously engaged in sending terrorists across the LoC. Not only this, sources in the security department have informed that the Pakistan Army is building bunkers near the launch pads and hiding the terrorists in these bunkers. So that the Indian Army does not notice them and these terrorists can hide and stay in these bunkers for many days.
