Amazing feat of Saharanpur police, they found two stolen buffaloes in 5 days and brought them to the police station

Police in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh has recovered two stolen buffaloes. Two buffaloes and a calf were stolen from different areas of the district. Police has recovered the animals and arrested three members of the smuggling gang. After recovering these buffaloes, they have been brought to the police station.

The police officer said that two cases of cattle theft were registered in Fatehpur police station of Saharanpur on 20th and 22nd August. Three police teams were deployed to solve this case. On 25th August, three accused were arrested while solving both the cases. These accused told that they have a gang of six people who steal cattle. The search for the remaining accused is on and they will be arrested soon.

Azam Khan’s seven buffaloes had gone missing

This is not the first case of buffalo theft in UP. Earlier, seven buffaloes of Azam Khan, who was a cabinet minister in the UP government, were stolen, which made headlines across the country because not only policemen but also magistrates, tehsildars and lekhpals were engaged in searching for his buffaloes and the crime branch was also involved in this. The then SP of Rampur herself was leading this search operation. Finally, Azam Khan’s buffaloes were found.

Two buffaloes of BJP MLA were stolen

After Azam Khan, in 2017, two buffaloes of BJP MLA from Hargaon in Sitapur and present minister Suresh Rahi also went missing. Police teams conducted a search operation for several days and later recovered them. Suresh Rahi is currently the Minister of State for Prisons in UP.
