Aman spoke exclusively to Aaj Tak after winning this bronze medal match. During this, Aman told that his weight was also increased before the bronze medal match of wrestling, so he also reduced it.

Aman said that he jogged in the gym at night. He went outside the wrestling arena and wore a windcheater jacket and did all this for 2-3 hours. This led to his weight loss. When Aman was asked that no one saw him eating food in the Olympics mess, he said- I brought my food from India. I take great care of my food so that my weight is maintained.

Keep in mind that Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified before the gold medal match in the women’s 50 kg freestyle wrestling category because her weight was 100 grams more than the set standard. “I still miss my parents.”
Aman Sehrawat is from Birohar in Jhajjar district of Haryana, where he initially started playing mud wrestling. When Sushil Kumar won the silver medal in the 2012 Olympics, he was inspired by him and came to the Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi at the age of 10. When he was 11 years old, both his parents died due to different diseases.

During this, Aman said that even today he misses his parents every day. Bronze medal winner Aman told that his parents wanted him to become a good wrestler. Aman said- When I came to Chhatrasal Stadium, I came to know that a good wrestler is the one who wins a medal in the Olympics. Since then, my only target was to become a good wrestler and win a medal.

Aman Sehrawat also told in this interview that when he is free, he likes to watch the TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Regarding his future plans, Aman said that after going home, he will now start preparing for the upcoming competition.
