Monsoon session of the assembly continues in UP

Tuesday is the second day of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Chief Minister Yogi was answering a question raised by a SP MLA in the Assembly. During this, he said that SP people are directly or indirectly involved in crimes against women. SP is a threat to women’s safety. He also took a dig at Mulayam Singh’s statement about boys. He said that the person who said that boys make mistakes, what will he say about women’s safety?

He said that compared to 2016, there has been a 16.5 percent reduction in dowry cases and 25.5 percent reduction in rape cases in 2024. Earlier, a meeting of the Yogi Cabinet was held. Both Deputy CMs Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak attended the meeting held at the CM residence. In the meeting, the cabinet approved a supplementary budget of Rs 30 thousand crores.
