Nazul Land Bill, Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday termed the Nazul land case as a decision to completely demolish homes and demanded that the inhuman ‘Nazul land bill’ be withdrawn forever. In a post on X on Friday, SP chief Yadav said that the Nazul land case is a decision to completely demolish homes because bulldozers cannot run on every house.
Attacked BJP
Akhilesh Yadav said, Bharatiya Janata Party is against the family. BJP finds happiness in hurting the people. Ever since BJP has come, people are wandering for livelihood and employment, and now BJP leaders want to snatch away their houses too. Said- BJP should show it is being implemented in the whole country
The SP leader said, if the BJP feels that their decision is correct, then we say it with confidence that if they have the courage, then they should implement it in the entire country because Nazul land is not only in Uttar Pradesh but in the entire country. He said that the SP demands that the inhuman ‘Nazul Land Bill’ should be withdrawn forever.
The bill was referred to the Select Committee
The Uttar Pradesh Nazul Property (Management and Use for Public Purpose) Bill was passed in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday, but did not get the approval of the Legislative Council on Thursday and was sent to the Select Committee of the House on the proposal of the ruling party members. Before it was passed in the Assembly on Wednesday, some MLAs of the ruling party had also expressed the need for amendments in it. However, later it was passed by voice vote. Many members of the opposition and the ruling party have expressed dissatisfaction over this bill.
