Akhilesh taunts on the video of Vande Bharat Express being pulled by a goods train engine, says- this is a push train

The engine of the Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi broke down near Etawah, after which the train was pulled by a goods train engine and parked at Bharthana railway station. Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at the video of the Vande Bharat train being pulled by a goods train engine.

The SP chief posted a video of Vande Bharat being pulled by a goods train engine and wrote on social media platform X that the engine failed in the double engine government. Akhilesh wrote, “This push train of BJP rule, engine failed in the double engine government.”

Let us tell you that on Monday morning, as soon as the Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi crossed the Etawah railway station, its engine malfunctioned and it stopped there. The technical team reached there and tried to repair the engine, but when they did not succeed, the train was pulled by the engine of a goods train and parked at Bharthana railway station.

Passengers created a ruckus at Bharthana railway station

As soon as they reached Bharthana railway station, the passengers started creating ruckus. The railway administration made all the passengers sit in Shatabdi Express and Vande Bharat Express going to Ayodhya. After that, all the passengers going to Varanasi were transported by Shram Shakti Express.

There were more than 700 passengers in Vande Bharat

According to Prayagraj Railway Division Public Relations Officer Amit Kumar Singh, 730 passengers were travelling in the Varanasi Vande Bharat Express. All of them were first taken to Kanpur by Shatabdi and Ayodhya Vande Bharat and then later went to Varanasi by Shramik Shakti Express. He told that after crossing Etawah, the Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi stopped in front of Bharthana Railway Station at around 9:15 am due to some technical problem in the engine. Engineers tried to repair the engine, but when they did not succeed, it was parked at Bharthana Railway Station with the help of another engine.
