Social media often becomes a medium for people to express their pain and complaints. Something similar happened with Deepak when he shared a video on the X platform along with his parking bill. Deepak claims that he had to pay a huge bill of Rs 5,770 for parking his car at IGI.
A passenger named Deepak Gosai told on his X account that he had parked his car in the Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) of Terminal 3 on August 17. On August 26, after returning from his trip, when Deepak reached MLCP to pick up his car, he almost fainted after seeing the parking bill. He had to pay a huge parking bill of Rs 5,770.
But Deepak’s shocks did not end here. Somehow he kept a heavy heart and paid Rs 5,770 and when he went towards his car, he was shocked to see its condition.
Deepak said that not only was the gate lock of the car completely broken, but the car also had scratches in many places. He posted all these things on his ex’s account.

Let us tell you, on September 3, the price of Air India Express’ Delhi to Lucknow round-trip ticket was only Rs 5,672, while Deepak paid a parking bill of Rs 5,770. A user commented on this and wrote that the parking fee is very high and unfair compared to air travel.
The official X account of Delhi Airport also reacted to Deepak’s post. On which they apologized to Deepak and said that they will investigate the matter.
What is the parking rate at Delhi airport?
The rate of multi-level car parking at Terminal 3 is Rs 120 for 30 minutes, whereas you will have to pay Rs 170 for half an hour and 1 hour. Apart from this, you will have to pay Rs 100 for every hour for the next five hours. Apart from this, if your car stays in the parking for between 5 hours to 24 hours, then you have to pay Rs 600 for it.
