Agniveers will increase in the army! Changes in salary are also possible… These changes can happen in the Agnipath scheme

The central government can make changes in the Agneepath scheme. According to sources associated with the Ministry of Defense, changes will definitely be made in the Agneepath scheme, but all this will happen at the right time. It is being told that discussions are being held on increasing the number of Agniveers in the army and making changes in their salary and eligibility.

According to sources, the survey and feedback process is going on within the units and formations regarding the Agneepath scheme. The army has already given recommendations on the changes to the government. There may be a delay in making these changes, but changes have to be made.

Recruitment is done for 4 years

Let us tell you that the Government of India had announced the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme for the Defense Forces in June 2022, under which Indian soldiers are recruited for only four years. A major change in the recruitment process of soldiers under the Agneepath scheme was announced by India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

Agniveers joining Agneepath

This scheme has provision for recruitment of youth in the army for 4 years. Along with this, a plan to give them service fund package along with retirement is also included in this scheme. Under the scheme, the person joining the army will be called Agniveer. This new recruitment scheme of the army was launched by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the presence of Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Air Force Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary and Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar.

In the end you get tax free service fund

The aim of the Agneepath scheme is to make the profile of army service useful. Under the Agneepath scheme, the youth get a package of 4.76 lakhs in the first year, which increases to 6.92 lakhs by the fourth year. Apart from this, risk and hardship allowance will also be given under this scheme. After the completion of four years of service, they get a service fund of Rs 11.7 lakh, which is tax-free.
