The official press release issued by the Navy said that despite all efforts, the ship could not be straightened. The ship is tilting further near its berth (anchor) and is currently resting on one side. The press release said that all the personnel except a junior sailor have been traced and the search for the missing sailor is on. The Indian Navy has ordered an investigation into the accident.
