After losing two consecutive elections (Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections) from Purnia, former MLA and minister Bima Bharti has once again met Nitish Kumar. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Bima Bharti left the Janata Dal United and joined Lalu’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Bima Bharti, who has been a five-time MLA from Rupauli seat of Purnia, is now worried about her political future, perhaps this is the reason why she has once again started looking for ways to return to Janata Dal United.

Bima Bharti has lost two consecutive elections

Bima Bharti met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his chamber on Friday, the last day of the monsoon session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, which is being seen as an attempt to return to JDU. However, when she was asked about returning to JDU in an interview, she replied that possibilities remain in politics. There are no permanent friends or enemies.

Bima Bharti has lost the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections

Let us tell you that Bima Bharti was a Janata Dal United MLA from Rupauli, she resigned from the party and her MLA post to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and then joined RJD. Bima Bharti contested the Lok Sabha elections from Purnia on an RJD ticket but she had to face a huge defeat. She stood third. Pappu Yadav won the election as an independent candidate from Purnia.

After this, Bima Bharti also tried her luck in the assembly by-election held in Rupauli but there too she had to face defeat and independent candidate Shankar Singh won.

Bima told Nitish is his guardian

After losing the Lok Sabha and then the assembly by-elections on RJD ticket, it now seems that Bima Bharti is worried about her political future and that is why she has met Nitish Kumar. It is believed that she may soon join JDU once again. After meeting Nitish Kumar, Bima Bharti has called him her guardian.
