Petrol pumps and CNG stations often have ‘No Smoking’ written on them and this is necessary too. Because sometimes a little carelessness becomes a big problem, i.e. a little fire can burn down the entire petrol pump and the surrounding area.
Apart from this, people should be very careful in other public places as well. Recently, due to such carelessness, a heart-wrenching incident came to light which was captured in CCTV. The incident is from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh where two people are standing near a roadside shop and talking. Some ‘water’ is collected nearby.
In the CCTV video that has surfaced, one of the two men suddenly lights a bidi and throws the wick in the water. But what is this, a huge fire breaks out here and then it is understood that there was not water but petrol lying below which was leaking from the bike parked nearby. On seeing the fire, both the men run away to save their lives but in this accident the bike and three nearby shops catch fire. Although there is not much damage but this accident could have been very terrible.
According to media reports, the man on the bike had reportedly bought five litres of petrol, but while he was riding the bike, the container started leaking and the petrol spilled on the road. There were many shops located on this road and many vehicles were parked there.
Let us tell you that this is not the first case of fire due to people’s negligence, but earlier also many cases of fire have come to light due to overheating of generators, ACs and inverters, where people sleeping in deep sleep late at night had to face a major accident.
