A horrific incident has come to light in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh. Here a man killed his wife and child. After this, he shared a photo in a WhatsApp group and wrote that he had killed both of them. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police is investigating the reasons behind the murder.
According to the agency, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dekio Gumja said that the police arrested 35-year-old Gangangam Gangsa, a resident of Khanu village. It is alleged that Gangangam killed his wife Ngamjun Gangsa and child Fagang Gangsa on Saturday.
The SP said that a person named Mangu Pansa filed a complaint at the Longding police station. It alleged that Gangangam Gangsa had shared a picture of his wife and their child in a WhatsApp group, saying that he had killed them.
The SP said that after receiving information about this case, the police team along with the complainant and Executive Magistrate Bini Shiva reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police recovered the bodies of both the woman and the child. The bodies were taken into custody and sent for post-mortem, after which the bodies were handed over to the family members.
After investigating the entire case, the police arrested the accused. The spade has been seized from the crime scene. The SP said that a case has been registered. Investigation is underway to find out the reasons behind this heinous murder.
