A sensational case has come to light in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. Here in Khachwana village of Gogamedi of Bhadra assembly constituency, the wife murdered her husband and buried the body in the toilet of the house. When the matter came to light, there was a stir. After the information, the police reached the spot and took stock. The police has started investigation into the incident.
According to the information, 42-year-old Ruparam, a resident of Khachwana village, was missing from his house for 16 days. His family members had also complained about this in the police station. It is alleged that the police did not take the matter seriously. The family members appealed to the local MLA, after which the police came into action. When the police interrogated Ruparam’s wife strictly, the whole story came out. Ruparam’s wife confessed her crime.
On the suspicion of the family, the police dug up the toilet in the house, in which the body of Ruparam was found. The police took out the body and took it into custody and started investigation. During this, the FSL team collected evidence from the spot. Ruparam’s family alleges that despite pleading before the police several times, no hearing took place. They had already expressed doubt that only Ruparam’s wife could kill her husband, but the police did not take any action.

Regarding this incident, Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan said that this case also seems to be a love affair. The police is investigating it from every angle. The wife of the deceased Roopram has been rounded up in this case. There may be many more accused in this, which is being investigated. As soon as any other accused are found in the investigation, they will also be arrested. At present, the police has kept the body in the mortuary for post-mortem.
Villagers and relatives blocked the road and raised slogans
In this case, anger spread among the villagers and family members and they blocked the road outside Gogamedi police station and raised slogans against the police. The angry family members are demanding that Gogamedi police station officer Ajay Girdhar be suspended and other accused in the incident be arrested soon.
The angry family members refused to get the post-mortem done until their demands were met. They alleged that Ruparam Beniwal was missing for about 16 days and despite informing the Gogamedi police, no action was taken.
The police assured that appropriate action will be taken considering the seriousness of the matter. Soon other accused will also be arrested. If any policeman has been negligent in this matter, action will be taken against him as well. At present, the investigation of this case has been handed over to Bhadra police station officer Hanuman Ram Bishnoi.
