But if there was something that got more attention than these songs, it was the chemistry between the lead actors of the film, Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta.
In ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, the chemistry and kissing scenes between these two created an atmosphere that the audience had seen in very few films till that time. But some time ago, while talking about it, Tanushree Dutta said that it was a ‘brother-sister’ chemistry. Now her co-star in ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, Emraan Hashmi has responded to this comment.

In an interview with ScoopWhoop, talking about the impact of Aashiq Banaya Aapne on an entire generation, Emraan Hashmi said, “Did you hear Tanushree’s comment three weeks ago? I don’t know if that was her quote verbatim or what. She said it (Tanushree’s chemistry with Emraan) was brother-sister. I thought, ‘What did the director tell her and what did he tell me?’ I had one narrative in mind and she had another. I was never told that the story was about incest. I don’t know what she was thinking, but okay.”
Tanushree called her kiss with Imran ‘awkward’
Tanushree Dutta worked with Emraan Hashmi in 3 films- Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005), Chocolate (2005) and Good Boy Bad Boy (2007). However, her kissing scene in ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ is still much talked about. Last year, in an interview, Tanushree talked about this scene and said that her kissing scene with Emraan was ‘awkward’ and she described her chemistry with him as ‘brother-sister’ like.
While talking to Filmigyan, Tanushree had said, ‘The biggest and top most actresses have done kissing and love-making scenes. No one says anything to them. Everyone has a problem with me. If I wear a short skirt or do any such scene, it is acting. There was nothing personal between me and Imran in that.
Tanushree had told that she had a kissing scene with Imran in ‘Chocolate’, but it was cut and she felt ‘awkward’ doing a kissing scene with Imran for the first time, but gradually it decreased. Tanushree had said, ‘Personally, in real life we had no chemistry with each other. His image is definitely of a kisser-boy, but he is not a very comfortable kisser.’
