After Bahraich, wolves attack Bareilly! 3 people including 2 women injured, villagers in fear

There is a fear of man-eating wolves in Bahraich, Rampur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur etc. districts of Uttar Pradesh, but now its threat is being felt in Bareilly as well. Wolves attacked three people near the river in Mansoorganj village of Baheri in Bareilly and injured them. Villagers say that people are in fear due to this. They have claimed to have seen three wolves. At the same time, the forest department team became alert on the spot as soon as the information was received. The team is conducting a search operation.

Wolf bites woman’s leg

It is being told that on Tuesday, Munni Devi was plucking okra in the field near the Daura river flowing between the villages of Gudwara and Mansoorganj and a wolf attacked her and bit her leg. Her husband Nem Chand, who ran to save her, was also injured by the wolf. Somehow people intervened and the wolf ran away. The couple went to the hospital for treatment and informed the forest department about the matter. Currently, forest department officials have reached the spot and have started the search operation.

The wolf was seen earlier also

Villagers say that a wolf was seen near the river on Monday evening as well. Meena of Gudwara village was bitten by a wolf while she was cutting grass in the field. When a wolf reached near the settlement, a youth of the village attacked it with a shovel and chased it away. After this incident, people saw a wolf on the banks of the river on Tuesday morning as well. Villagers are forced to live in fear due to the sound of wolves. They are worried about their lives.

The victim woman said that he (wolf) attacked from behind, I was in the field at that time. He hit me from behind. When he came forward, I got scared seeing him and fell down. It was not a dog, it was a wolf. I called for help and my son came.
