Ayodhya Gang Rape Case, The police-administration has started cracking down on SP leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the gang rape of a minor girl in Ayodhya. This morning, a bulldozer arrived at Moeed’s bakery along with the police force. Sohawal SDM Ashok Kumar said that the bakery has been sealed after being found illegal and action is being taken to demolish the bakery.
Yogi met the family members of Ayodhya gang rape victim
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday met the family members of the gang rape victim of Ayodhya at his official residence and assured them of strict punishment to the accused. The Chief Minister posted on Instagram and said, “Today I met the family members of the victim girl of Ayodhya in Lucknow along with Dr. Amit Singh Chauhan, MLA of Bikapur assembly constituency of Ayodhya district. The culprits will not be spared at any cost, strict action will be taken against them. We are committed to get justice for the girl at any cost.” In this post, the Chief Minister also shared a picture of his meeting with the girl’s family.
Bulldozers will run on illegal properties
Later, an official statement said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured the mother of the victim that the government stands with her to get her justice and the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances. After meeting the Chief Minister, the mother of the victim told reporters that she has demanded death penalty from the government for those who brutally raped her daughter, on which the Chief Minister also assured that the government is committed to get justice for the girl at all costs. She told that the Chief Minister has also assured that the properties of accused Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan will be investigated and bulldozers will be run on illegal properties.
Moeed and Raju Khan arrested on 30 June
According to an official statement, Ayodhya police on July 30 arrested Moeed Khan, who runs a bakery in Bhadarsa Nagar under Purakalandar police station area of the district, and his employee Raju Khan in the rape case. Police said Moeed and Raju Khan raped the minor two months ago and also recorded the act. The incident came to light when a recent medical examination revealed that the victim was pregnant. The case has taken a political turn after it was claimed that Moeed Khan is a member of the SP. On Thursday, Yogi Adityanath mentioned the incident in the Assembly and targeted the SP.

12 year old girl raped
CM Yogi said, this is a case of Ayodhya. Moeed Khan is from SP and is a member of the Ayodhya MP’s team. He has been found involved in the rape of a 12-year-old girl. SP has not taken any action against him. After meeting the victim’s mother on Friday, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to make special arrangements for the girl’s health and safety. Yogi also instructed Anita Agarwal, member of the State Child Rights Protection Commission, to meet the rape victim at the Ayodhya District Women’s Hospital. The statement said that the commission member who reached Ayodhya enquired about the victim’s well-being and held a special meeting with her family and assured them of justice. He said that this incident of brutality with a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya is condemnable.
