A young man reached the police station to complain, the clerk asked for a kilo of hot jalebi in bribe

After demanding 5 kg potatoes as bribe in Uttar Pradesh, now a case of demanding 1 kg hot jalebi has come to light. The entire case is of Bahadurgarh police station of Hapur district. When a young man reached there with an application to register a complaint about lost mobile, the police clerk sitting in the police station demanded one kg jalebi from the victim in exchange for stamping the application. The frustrated and disappointed youth could not refuse this demand of the clerk and he brought one kg jalebi and distributed it among the policemen in the police station. After this, the policeman posted in the police station stamped his complaint about lost mobile phone.

In return for approving the application, he asked for hot jalebi

Giving information about the incident, Chanchal Kumar, a resident of village Kanaur in Bahadurgarh police station area of ​​Hapur, said that he had gone to Dehra Kuti last evening to get medicine. During this, his mobile was lost somewhere on the way. When the mobile was not found even after a lot of searching, the youth reached Bahadurgarh police station to complain. Here, when he gave the application to the clerk sitting in the police station to register a complaint about the missing mobile, the clerk first understood the whole matter and then demanded to feed jalebi to the policemen of the police station in exchange for stamping the application.

Not only this, the clerk also asked the young man to bring hot jalebi or balushahi. The young man Chanchal was also stunned to hear this demand of the station clerk. When the young man felt that his application would not be approved without feeding sweets to the policemen, he immediately brought a kilo of hot jalebi from the sweet shop.

Accused home guard suspended

After this, after eating sweets in the police station, the police stamped the application of the young man and sent him home. As soon as the news of the clerk in the police station asking for sweets from the victim in exchange for stamping the application reached the media, a round of discussions started in the entire district.

Giving information in the case, DSP Garhmukteshwar Ashutosh Shivam spoke through the media cell of Hapur Police. He said that after investigating the case, the home guard has been removed from the police station and suspended with immediate effect.
