In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a 21-year-old woman’s life has been saved because of Meta (Facebook) AI. The woman was going to commit suicide. Before that, she made a video of herself hanging herself and posted it on social media. As soon as the post went viral, Meta AI immediately alerted the UP Police. The police immediately traced the woman’s location and reached her house and saved her life.
ACP Mohanlalganj Rajneesh Verma said that on Saturday afternoon at around 12 o’clock, the social media center of the office of Director General of Police received information from Meta AI that a young woman was hanging from a noose. Acting immediately on the information, the police team reached the spot and rescued her safely. Actually, the woman was upset because her husband had left her. This is the reason why she was going to commit suicide.
The ACP said that when the girl was trying to commit suicide, her family members had no idea. During police investigation, it was found that the girl was having an affair with a young man living in another locality. About four months ago, both of them got married in Arya Samaj Mandir and started living together like husband and wife. Since this marriage was not legally valid, the young man left her.
It is being told that the woman became mentally stressed due to the departure of her husband. She decided to commit suicide. On Saturday, she made a noose at home and hung it around her neck. She made a video of it and posted it on social media. In that video, she was talking about committing suicide. The video went viral in no time. After this, as soon as the alert was received from Meta, the Director General of Police alerted the concerned police station.
The police soon found out the woman’s village and a police team along with a female police officer reached the spot. After talking to the woman, she was taken out of the room. The female police officers counselled her for about an hour. According to the police, she is now completely healthy. The police is constantly in touch with her. Based on her complaint, the accused husband has been arrested.
