A sex racket was going on in a spa in Navi Mumbai, police raided and rescued three women

Sex racket busted in Navi Mumbai: Police raided a spa in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and claimed to have rescued three women who were being pushed into prostitution. This action was carried out by a team of Maharashtra Police’s Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) after receiving intelligence information.

Giving information about this, Prithviraj Ghorpade, a senior officer of the Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC), told PTI that his team raided the spa located in Sanpada after receiving a secret information.

Senior officer Prithviraj Ghorpade further said that during this raid, his team found on the spot that some of the women massage providers were being forced into prostitution by the management.

According to the AHTC officer, following the raid, an FIR was registered at the Sanpada police station against three people, including a woman, under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

The accused have been identified as Rakesh Pramod Pingle (38), Nazia Bandnawaz Sheikh (23) and Akash Lalsingh Chauhan (25). He said that the entire case is under investigation. However, no one has been arrested yet.
