A boy who went to a doctor in Madhaura of Saran district complaining of vomiting and stomach ache died after the operation. The family members allege that the doctor was a quack. He operated on the boy’s stomach after watching YouTube. The teenager’s condition became critical during the operation. After the boy’s death, the quack doctor closed the clinic and fled.
This incident happened late Friday night at Ganpati Seva Sadan situated in Dharmabagi market of Madhaura police station area. The deceased has been identified as Golu Sah (15 years) son of Chandan Shah, resident of Bhuwalpur village of Madhaura police station area.
There was a ruckus after the boy’s death
After the death, the family of the teenager informed the local police. The police went to the spot and investigated the clinic and took the body of the teenager into custody and sent it to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased teenager Golu was the eldest child of his parents. After the death of the teenager, there is an uproar among the entire family. The family members said that the child had already complained of stones in the gall bladder.
The operation was done without informing the family
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s grandfather Prahlad Prasad Sah said that his grandson was complaining of vomiting and stomach ache. After this, he admitted his grandson to Ganpati Seva Sadan Hospital for treatment. The quack doctor Ajit Kumar Puri, who runs this clinic, operated on the teenager without informing them and without permission.
Accused of doing operation after watching YouTube
The family has also alleged that the doctor was performing the operation while watching YouTube on his mobile. During this, the doctor had sent the deceased’s father with his compounder to bring diesel. When Golu was having severe stomach pain, his grandfather Prahlad complained about it to the quack doctor. On this, the doctor scolded him and said, am I a doctor or you?
When his condition worsened, he was being taken to Patna
When the child’s condition worsened during the operation, the doctor himself took the patient in the ambulance along with the grandmother to Patna Hospital. While going to Patna, the boy died on the way. After the death, quack doctor Ajit fled leaving the body behind. From there, his grandmother somehow returned with the body of her grandson.
Saran Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish said on this matter that a case has been registered in the local Madhaura police station on the statement of the family members. Police is conducting raids to arrest the quack doctor and the employees of that clinic.
