A man was found in women’s clothes, his hands and legs were tied… A strange incident in Ghaziabad, police told what is the truth

A shocking robbery incident has been revealed in Ghaziabad, UP, which ultimately turned out to be completely fake. Vinod Rai, a resident of Lajpat Nagar in Sahibabad police station area, told the police that a woman and a man had entered his house on the pretext of helping. Vinod said that both of them first made me unconscious, then made me wear women’s clothes and then fled after robbing Rs 20,000 in cash.

Vinod Rai told the police that the miscreants held him hostage and made him wear women’s clothes after looting. When he regained consciousness, he made noise and the neighbours came to the spot. When the neighbours came home, his hands and legs were tied. After this, Vinod shared a photo on social media and wrote about the robbery incident that happened with him. In the photo, Vinod was wearing women’s clothes.

As soon as this matter reached the police, an investigation was started. Many unresolved questions came to light in the initial investigation itself. The police suspected that this could not be a case of robbery, because many aspects of the incident were not matching.

Police say that the robbery story filed by the victim was completely fake. Vinod Rai himself had staged this drama. The reason behind this was that his son had taken a loan of ₹ 60,000 from a finance company, which he was unable to repay. The finance company was constantly calling for recovery and even threatening to send him to jail.

The story of robbery turned out to be fake during investigation

Vinod Rai himself fabricated the story of robbery to escape the pressure of the finance company. First he himself wore women’s clothes and adorned himself, then tied his hands and legs and made noise so that the neighbours could be called and the robbery incident could appear real. His purpose was that by making an excuse of robbery, he could show the finance company that he cannot repay the loan at the moment.

Police arrested the accused

After investigation, the police took Vinod Rai into custody and the whole truth of the case came out. Sahibabad ACP Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay said that Rai’s son was unable to repay the loan and he was afraid of going to jail. Due to this, Vinod Rai hatched this conspiracy. The police have started legal action against Vinod Rai and further investigation is going on.
