In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a man kidnapped a 2-year-old girl sleeping next to the family and escaped. But, on hearing the girl’s crying, the family woke up and chased the man. Seeing this, the accused threw the girl in the drain and fled. After finding the girl’s body in the drain, the family created a ruckus. On the complaint of the family, the police have registered an FIR and arrested one of the accused.
The case is from Sadar police station area of Meerut. Some families live in the slum here. It is being told that when the family was sleeping outside the slum, a 2-year-old girl was also sleeping next to her family. During this time, late at night a young man picked up the girl and took her away. When the girl started crying, the family woke up. As soon as the noise was made, the family and some people ran after the accused to save the girl.
But he did not stop. After this he suddenly disappeared and threw the girl in a drain there. Meanwhile, when the girl was searched, her body was found in the drain. The people living there told that the young man picked up the girl and took her away and when people ran after him, he saw the crowd and immediately threw the girl in the drain. CCTV of the incident has also surfaced, in which the accused is seen picking up the girl.
Meerut SP City Ayush Vikram said that a man kidnapped a two-year-old girl from Sadar Bazar police station. When the family chased him, he threw the girl in the drain. Due to this the girl died. On the basis of the complaint of the family, a 20-year-old man named Mois has been arrested and a case has also been registered. The body of the girl has been sent for post-mortem. Further action will be taken as per the post-mortem report.
