There was a commotion in a reputed IAS coaching institute at Hussadia crossing in Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, the capital of UP, when two students got stuck in the lift after studying in the coaching. Both of them remained stuck for a long time, they also called out for help, but their voice did not reach anyone. After this, the student stuck in the lift called her husband and informed him. Then the information reached the police. The police reached the spot and got both of them out.
Actually, when the coaching got over at 8 pm, two students Shobha Singh and Nilesh Awasthi were going down to the ground floor in the lift after the class was over. During this time, a loud sound was heard and then the lift stopped in the middle. After the lift stopped, both the students pleaded for help, but due to the lift being in the middle of the floor and the gate being closed, no one could hear the voice.
Both the students remained stuck in the lift for about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, student Shobha Singh informed her husband Pawan Singh about them being stuck in the lift. After this, Pawan Singh reached the spot and informed the coaching management, but did not get any help.

After this, Pawan Singh made a video of this incident and showed how his wife was stuck in the lift. Pawan alleged that no one helped him. The video went viral on social media. Pawan informed the police about this matter. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and got the lift fixed with the help of the lift operator. After this, both the students could come out.
What did the police say about the whole matter?
It is being told that the guard did not have the ‘master key’ of the lift, due to which the students trapped in the lift could not be taken out on time. Regarding this whole matter, the police say that a rat got stuck in the metal rope, due to which the power supply of the lift got cut and it stopped on the fifth floor. However, after getting information about this matter, the police reached the spot and both the students trapped in the lift were taken out.
