A huge fire broke out in a firecracker warehouse in Delhi, a burnt body found inside the room

One person died due to a fire in a firecracker warehouse in Delhi’s Sonia Vihar area. Officials said that the incident took place in Sonia Vihar of North East Delhi on Monday.

According to the news agency, a police officer said that the incident took place at 4 am in Chauhan Patti in street number 1 of Sonia Vihar. According to an official of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), after the information of the fire, five fire engines were pressed into service and after two hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control.

Regarding this incident, the police said that the burnt body of a person has been recovered from inside the room. The police said that the deceased probably used to take care of the warehouse and was sleeping in the same premises at the time of the incident.

Another officer said, “Investigation has revealed that the 200 square yard plot is owned by Krishan, who had rented the premises to Javed, who lives in Wazirabad.” The officer said that there was a room in the plot in which some firecrackers were kept, adding that Javed had used the premises to store those firecrackers.

He said that it is also suspected that the warehouse was running illegally and a case has been registered under the relevant sections. He said that efforts are being made to nab Javed and further investigation is underway.

Let us tell you that just a day ago, two workers were killed in a sudden explosion in a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu. This explosion took place in the warehouse of a firecracker factory near Nazareth.

According to the report, the explosion occurred suddenly when the workers were stocking firecrackers. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin expressed grief over the incident and announced a compensation of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
