Jodhpur court has rejected the CBI’s closure report in his encounter case. Not only this, the court has ordered to file a case under section 302 of IPC against the policemen involved in the encounter. In this way, the name of this notorious gangster of Rajasthan has come into the news. His story is as horrifying as it is interesting.

Gangster Anandpal Singh was born in a village called Sanwarad in Ladnun tehsil of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. He was very intelligent in studies since childhood. His father’s dream was that he should study and become a teacher. This is the reason why he also took B.Ed training after graduation, but in the meantime his mind started getting interested in politics. District Panchayat elections were to be held in Rajasthan in the year 2000. Anandpal also contested the Panchayat elections and won. But he lost in the election for the head of the Panchayat Samiti.

The police had placed a bounty of Rs 5 lakh on his head

Anandpal Singh’s gang brutally murdered a man named Nanuram. His body was burnt by pouring acid on it. After this murder, he absconded. 6 years after his abscondence, in 2012, the police arrested him. But in 2015, while returning from the hearing in Didwana court, he escaped from the clutches of the police. The police had put a bounty of Rs 5 lakh on his head. To put pressure on him, the police-administration had confiscated his benami properties worth more than Rs 150 crore.

The farm house was like the villain’s fortress

During the search operation, the police discovered a fort of Anandpal Singh, which was no less than the fort of a film villain. He had converted a farmhouse built in the middle of deserted fields into a fort. Bunkers were built here to fight the enemies. Holes were also made in the walls to shoot from inside to outside. The police officers were stunned after entering this fort built on about 9 bighas of land. Here, another cellar was found inside the basement, in which a cage was kept.

He used to torture people in an iron cage

Probably Anandpal Singh used to imprison his enemies in this cage to torture them. He used to get most of the lands illegally occupied and forcibly buy people’s lands. If they protested, they were tortured in this fort. During his escape, he stayed here with his girlfriend Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary. It is said that this farmhouse was in the name of a Dalit woman named Sita Devi. But when the police questioned him, he flatly denied having any knowledge of this.

Anandpal was killed in such a police encounter

In 2017, amid heavy pressure, the police killed gangster Anandpal Singh during an encounter in Salasar, Rajasthan. During this encounter, Anandpal and his two companions fired about 100 rounds at the police from AK-47. Anandpal was hit by 6 bullets in the retaliatory action of the police. Two policemen were also injured. In fact, SOG arrested Anandpal’s two brothers Devendra alias Guttu and Vicky from Sirsa in Haryana. During interrogation, it was found that Anandpal was in Salasar.

Anuradha, a tall girl who wears jeans, t-shirt and shirt, is a resident of Jaipur. She is a graduate from Ajmer’s Sophia School and speaks English fluently. But the desire to earn quick money and lead a luxurious life pulled her into the world of crime. She joined Anandpal’s gang. Gradually she came close to him and soon became number two in the gang. After Anandpal went to jail in 2012, she took over the command of the entire gang. Currently, Anuradha has married gangster Kala Jatheri.
