Four people died in a horrific road accident in Etawah, UP. Three people were also seriously injured in this accident. The deceased and the injured belonged to the same family. All of them were going to their destination in an Ertiga car. Then on the way, their car collided with a parked truck. There was a lot of screaming after the collision with the truck. The car was shattered into pieces. The bodies were taken out by cutting the parts of the car.
The incident took place at around 7:00 am on National Highway 19 under Ikdil police station area of Etawah. Here an Ertiga car collided with a parked truck on the Agra-Kanpur highway. The collision was so severe that four of the seven people in the car died on the spot. The remaining three people were seriously injured.
According to the information, this Ertiga car was going from Delhi to Mahoba in Hamirpur. It is being told that the car collided with a parked truck due to the driver falling asleep. The dead include three men and a woman while the injured include a woman and two children.
A woman and a girl child have been referred from the district hospital to Saifai Medical College because they are seriously injured. A child named Jitendra who is able to speak said that we were going to our maternal grandparents’ house. My sister and my mother are injured. We all belong to the same family. Half the family is gone.
The accident was so severe that the rescue team had to cut the car and take out the bodies of the deceased. With the help of local people, the police have taken the bodies to the mortuary. The relatives of the deceased have been informed.
In this case, Medical Superintendent Dr. Shyam Chaudhary said that a four-wheeler and a truck collided ahead of Pilkhar under Thana Ikdil area. A boy, a girl and a woman Poonam are seriously injured in this. They have been referred to Saifai from the district hospital, their condition is serious. The bodies of four dead had come, they have been kept in the mortuary.
