A ‘dream’ shattered after watching the news on TV, family in shock over Shreya’s death at RAU’S IAS coaching

Two girl students and a boy student died after drowning in the basement of RAU’S IAS Study Centre in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, after it suddenly got flooded. Shreya Yadav, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in UP, was also among the dead. As soon as the news of her death reached her home, there was mourning in Barsawan Hashimpur village. Shreya’s relatives were looking at her as a future IAS, but now their dream is shattered forever.

After Shreya’s death, her uncle Dharmendra Yadav while talking to news agency ANI said that when he was watching TV last night, he came to know about the news of Rajendra Nagar institute.

Uncle got the news through TV

Shreya Yadav’s uncle Dharmendra Yadav saw the news of ‘Raw Coaching’ on TV and reached Rajendra Nagar where he could not find anything about his niece after inquiring in the hostel and coaching. After that, an officer on the spot told him that a student named Shreya Yadav has been taken to RML hospital and has died.

Dharmendra Yadav has been present in RML hospital since last night, but he has not seen the body of his niece Shreya yet. He has been informed that he will not get the body until the police reaches here. However, Dharmendra Yadav saw his niece’s name in a list of the dead, after which he came to know that she has died.

The family’s dream is shattered: Uncle

Dharmendra Yadav said that he had sent his niece to Delhi with a lot of hopes to become an IAS officer. She was preparing for it in a coaching institute in Rajendra Nagar. But due to the failure of the system, she is no longer among us. A case of culpable homicide should be registered against the owner of the institute.

Let us tell you that in this case, NDRF has completed the rescue and the bodies of three people have been taken out. Let us tell you that there was a library in the basement of the coaching centre in which the students studying there suddenly drowned due to sudden flooding. Out of these, three people could not be saved.

The Delhi government ordered a magisterial inquiry into the matter. Meanwhile, students preparing for civil services in coaching institutes are staging a sit-in protest and demanding action against those responsible for this incident.
