A deserted area, a river bank and a headless body… this case of a woman’s murder became a puzzle for the police

Pune headless corpse murder mystery: A sensation spread in Pune, Maharashtra when a headless body of a woman was found. The body of the woman was found on the banks of the Mula river in a deserted area. It is being told that a passerby had informed the police about this after seeing the body. Now the police has started investigating this matter.

Giving information about this sensational incident, a senior officer of Pune Police told PTI that the headless body of a woman was found on the banks of Mula river. He said that the police control room received information about the body found on the banks of the river at around 11 am on Monday.

According to the police officer, the body was found near the river in Chandannagar area. According to preliminary investigation, the woman’s head was chopped off and her hands and legs were cut off from the shoulder and hip joints. It was clear that she was brutally murdered.

The police officer further said that the woman’s body has been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered at the Chandannagar police station under sections 103 (murder) and 238 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS).

The officer said that investigation is being done to find out the identity of the deceased woman. Not only this, the police is also investigating such cases in which complaints have been made about missing persons or their missing reports have been registered. At present, this case has become a puzzle for the police.
